He's one of the best classes in the game for tower builds, he has intangibility and flight powers, he has interchangable perspectives of on-ground, and Real-Time-Strategy, and honestly the list of his versatility could go onward. The Summoner can't use weapons, but he most certainly makes up for it.In Dungeon Defenders, you can normally only place a specific number of defenses, based on how many "Defense Units" the ones you make cost. The Summoner class has his own seperate pool of units for building to pull from, called "Minion Units". This gives players a HUGE advantage in building, as you can simply add Summoner minions onto any previously DU-only build. Honestly, this is probably the first character DLC you should buy, or even the plain first DLC you buy..
